Faith MattersI have personally known Rich Davis for about 5 years, Rich (retired Fort Myers Police Department) has proven to be one of the most generous and caring individuals I have ever met. Rich has a sense of humor that is often appreciated by the brothers and sisters (Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS) as well everyone around him.

As some of you are aware, Rich was recently diagnosed and receiving treatment for a rare type of leukemia and lymphoma.  As I’m sure you would agree, keeping Rich and the entire Davis family in your prayers is the most important thing we can do.

An event has been created to help meet the needs of the Davis family while they work through this challenging season.  A benefit barbecue has been organized and scheduled for Saturday, October 17th, at Crosspoint Christian Church, 204 SW 11th Place, Cape Coral, Florida.  Barbecue pork dinners and kid’s meal hotdog dinners will be served from 3:00 to 5:00. I will be slow smoking and serving the BBQ for the event so I would really appreciate you as well as all your friends stopping by.

A Facebook Event https://www.facebook.com/events/418400045022652/  has been created, so please help spread the word.

We want to do even more to fill in the gaps as medical bills accumulate and Rich remains unable to work. If you are able to attend this event it  would really help. If you are not local or cannot attend but would still like the opportunity to contribute to the Davis family you can do it here.  https://www.youcaring.com/rich-and-amy-davis-438673.

On behalf of the Davis family, thank you in advance for all of your heartfelt prayers in addition to all your efforts to make this event successful.

Blessings,

Ray & Debbie Briggs
