On Saturday, June 20th at 7:30 p.m, a charity hockey game will be hosted by Lee County Sheriff’s Office at the Fort Myers Skatium, 2250 Broadway, Fort Myers. The game benefits the Florida Sled Hockey program. The Florida Sled Hockey program is a team of disabled hockey players that are represented by wounded veterans, Olympic gold medalists and other disabled athletes. The game start time is 7:30 p.m. The game is between Lee County Sheriff’s Office and local Police Departments. Several members from Fort Myers Police Department will be playing in the game as well as representatives from Cape Coral Police Department, Collier County Sheriff’s Office, State Attorney’s Office, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, and Port Authority.
