The recruitment drive takes place at the Sheriff’s Office headquarters at 14750 Ben C. Pratt Six-Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers.  In addition to learning about the job opportunities, there will be many specialty units of the agency displaying their equipment, answering questions and performing demonstrations to include: the Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, S.W.A.T. Van and Bearcat, C.E.R.T. (Corrections Emergency Response Team), Hostage Negotiation Team. Bomb Squad, Waterborne Strike Team and vessel, Traffic Enforcement  motorcycle and patrol car, the Mobile Communications and Command Center, Public Services Division information and more.
