On Saturday, law enforcement will battle it out on the fields at the 10th annual State Attorney’s Office Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Softball Tournament at the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers. Gates open at 8 a.m . and the event will go until about 6 p.m.

 More than 300 members of law enforcement from different agencies will be competing for an upper and lower division title. All the money raised after paying for the event will go to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. There will be food, carnival games for the kids, a magic show, raffle prizes and silent auction.

 The agencies fielding teams are: the State Attorney’s Office, FHP, Cape Coral Police Dept., FWC – Collier, FWC – Lee, Marco Island Police Dept., FDLE, Punta Gorda Police Dept., Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Naples Police Dept., FGCU Police, Glades County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County Port Authority Police, Fort Myers Police Dept., Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Clewiston Police Dept.
