Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Substation
(Fort Myers, FL) – On Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 3:00 PM the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida and the Fort Myers Police Department will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for a new police substation at 4150 Ford Street Extension. The new station is in partnership with the Children’s Network and will give the FMPD a valuable working space in a central location of the city where officers can complete reports, meet with residents and conduct department business without having to return to the department’s main station, allowing them to spend more time on patrol. The event will include a ribbon cutting, photo opportunities, facility tours and light refreshments beginning at 3:00 p.m. Entrance to the substation can be found at the rear of the building.
