FMPD Supports the PACE Center for Girls

FMPD Check presentation

(Fort Myers, FL) – The Fort Myers Police Department presented a check for $13,000 to the PACE Center for Girls of Lee County on Friday, February 15, 2019. Chief Derrick Diggs handed an oversize check representing the donation to PACE Executive Director Meg Geltner and Chairman of the Board Mark Blust. Accompanying the Chief were Deputy Chiefs Randall Pepitone and Jeffery Meyers with Captain Bill Newhouse and Lt. Jason Fields. Chief Diggs spoke to the girls present saying β€œThe FMPD is proud to be a partner with the PACE Center for Girls. Helping to support their mission to be a national model for reducing recidivism and improving school success, employment and self-sufficiency amongst girls.”
