FMPD Receives Donation Check from Mission BBQ

(Fort Myers, FL) The Fort Myers location of Mission BBQ presented the Fort Myers Police Department 2018 Cops & Joggers 5K/Fallen Officers Memorial Foundation with a check for $1500.00 based on sales of their Hometown Heroes Red Cups. Presenting the check to Lt. Jeffery Bernice is Mission BBQ Community Ambassador Michelle Palladino. The annual Cops & Joggers night time walk & run was held this year on October 13 and was dedicated to the memory of fallen FMPD officer Adam Jobbers-Miller and fallen Highlands County Deputy William Gentry. The event was the 11th annual and drew over 1000 runners, a record of participants.
