In observation of National Police Week and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day, The Fallen Officers’ Memorial Ceremony will be held in Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Agencies participating in the ceremony include: Cape Coral Police Department, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Southwestern College, Florida Gulf Coast University, Port Authority Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol, Southwest Florida Public Service Academy and the Fort Myers Police Department.
