Police Seek Help with Cold Case Homicide Investigation; Remind Citizens of Possible Rewards

The Fort Myers Police Department is aggressively seeking any tips or information that may lead to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the homicides of Deonte Redding and Zachary Blue that occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, June 7, 2014.

The lives of Deonte Redding and Zachary Blue were tragically cut short as they were shot to death in the driveway of 1702 South Drive. The families of the victims are holding a memorial service on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Indian Street Community Park. Detectives are aggressively seeking information regarding this murder investigation. “We know there are witnesses to this heinous crime, and we desperately need them to come forward to provide the family members with the justice they deserve,” said Detective Sergeant Brian O’Reilly.

FMPD would like to remind everyone that a reward of up to $25,000 is available for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the accused offender.
