The Punta Gorda Police Department and Do the Right Thing of Charlotte County is proud to announce the “Stars and Shields” charity softball tournament. The event will be held on November 12th, in Punta Gorda, FL. This tournament if for law enforcement agencies all over Southwest Florida. There will be two (2) different divisions pending on the size of the agency. We are asking all agencies around Southwest Florida to represent their areas, and register a team for a fun filled day.
All proceeds will benefit Do the Right Thing of Charlotte County, Inc. The Do the Right Thing program recognizes children who do positive things in their communities. Do the Right Thing also awards scholarships to all the local high schools. For more information regarding the tournament, please contact Lt.
