Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is hosting their 4th annual Broadway Series fundraiser. This year the musical “Sugar, The Some Like It Hot Musical” will be playing at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers. There will also be a full buffet dinner. The musical is based on the movie “Some Like It Hot” starring Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis. You can also take part in a silent auction of celebrity memorabilia. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood, Music and Sports are represented! Bidding will start as low as $20 on some items. The event is the evenings of October 7th and 8th. Doors open at 5:30p.m. for dinner and the auction, the show starts at 7:30p.m. Proceeds from the auction go to support Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, which helps all of law enforcement by encouraging people to call in tips on wanted fugitives or unsolved crimes. At the event each night, there will be a separate showing of the personal items of Marilyn Monroe. You can take a walk-through tour to get an intimate look at the life of one of the most famous women ever! Tickets to the Marilyn display area are $15. Tickets will be sold at the door. All of the proceeds from the Marilyn ticket sales will also go to Crime Stoppers.
