FORT MYERS, Fla.- The brotherhood riders are on their way back to Southwest Florida.

JetBlue is flying them back to Fort Myers after their 1,600 mile cycle ride from Naples to New York. The brotherhood riders will be back here in Southwest Florida shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday.

There will be a welcome home celebration for the thirty plus local fire fighters and law enforcement officers who peddled 1600 miles to New York City. They left Naples on August 20th and arrived in New York City September 10th, in time for the 10th anniversary of September 11th.

Their mission is to honor all 411 emergency responders who died on 9/11. The ride was made up of forty fire fighters and law enforcement officers from all over the state of Florida and even parts of Texas.

The public is invited to attend the celebration and welcome home the men and woman. The celebration will take place at R.S.W.’s old terminal area in Fort Myers, not long after the group gets off their flight.
