The 9th Annual State Attorney’s Office Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Softball Tournament was held Saturday, April 30th, 2011 the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers. Law enforcement agencies representing 5 counties across Southwest Florida competed for the Upper and Lower Division 2011 Championships.
Business sponsors helped make this event possible so law enforcement employees can have a free day of fun. All profits then went to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. The work they do impacts all agencies dealing with crime.
Teams this year included; the State Attorney’s Office, FHP, Hendry Co. Sheriff’s Office, FWC, Naples Police Dept., FGCU Police, Glades Co. Sheriff’s Office, FDLE, Cape Coral Police Dept., Fort Myers Police Dept., Collier Co. Sheriff’s Office, Lee Co. Port Authority Police, Lee Co. Sheriff’s Office, Punta Gorda Police Dept., Probation Dept., and Pre-Trial Services.
