(Fort Myers, FL) Signups for youth football and cheer teams with the Dunbar Stingrays will be taking place over the next few weeks for youths ages 6 through 14 at the Dr. Ann Murphy Knight STARS Complex in Fort Myers. The Fort Myers Police Department and Chief Derrick Diggs are energetically supporting the establishment of the teams as part of the Police Athletic League’s (PAL) commitment to community outreach projects under the supervision of Officer Lamar Campbell.

The following dates and times are scheduled for parents or guardians to register interested children at the STARS Complex, 2980 Edison Avenue, Fort Myers.
• Friday, December 29 – 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, December 30 – 10 a.m. to 12 Noon
• Saturday, January 6 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Saturday, January 13 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Registration for both spring and fall football is $175.00 total and a $75.00 deposit will hold a child’s spot. Please bring the child’s birth certificate, report card, parent photo ID, insurance information and physical form, if available.
