The Fort Myers Police Department is proud to announce this year’s Respect For Law Camp will take place June 8th through June 11th.  FMPD’s annual Respect for Law Camp is a summer tradition. The goal of the camp is to give youngsters an up-close look at law enforcement. The Police Department hopes to build respect for the law while enhancing the child’s self-esteem. The camp’s staff members consists of local law enforcement personnel as well as public safety guest speakers. Highlights of the camp include live police scenarios, SWAT demonstrations, K9 demonstrations, police obstacle courses, hands-on equipment displays and team-building activities. The 4-day, 3-night Respect for Law Camp is open to children ages 11-14. Enrollment in the camp is limited to the first 132 applicants.

The camp will be held at Bishop Verot High School located at 5886 Sunrise Drive, Fort Myers.

Cost for the camp is  $125.00.. The price of registration will include all meals, four camp shirts (One per day), a hat, water bottles and much more. Register before April 30th and receive a $15.00 discount.
