The men and women of the Fort Myers Police Department are asking all members of the community to come out and join us on Wednesday, October 19th, at Centennial Park as we host our annual Celebrate Safe Communities Event. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and will offer free food, music, games for the kids, police demonstrations, Italian ice and much more. The Fort Myers Fire Department will also be on hand with ladder trucks and fire prevention displays.
This is a great opportunity for citizens to come out and talk to the officers that patrol their communities on a daily basis. Citizens can share their concerns, learn about law enforcement, have a bite to eat and just enjoy a night out together with us.
